So a name tag is just for names…right? Not necessarily.
Yes a name tag should have the employee or staff members name, but there is also space for a variety of other messages. How about using a name tag to promote a new product? Or even using a name tag to promote special financing? It is really not that complicated to turn a regular name tag into something special and more important useful, all it takes is some thought.
Of course your name tag whether it is an engraved or magnetic name tag should have the employee name but you could eliminate the business name or logo and add text or a graphic promotion a sale or special that the business is running. Keep the name prominent since it is actually a name tag, but maybe use a unique color scheme for the balance of the graphic. Or you may want to use a design that is totally different than your standard staff name tags. Go with a color background instead of the basic white. Maybe pick a custom shape with a colorful graphic, or even add a label to the name tag to give it a two part look. Or how about a large style say 2 inch by 4 inch on a lanyard to really make the name tag stand out.
Any style name tag will work but choosing the right graphic, color scheme, shape and even attachment can help insure that promoting your event with name tags is a success.
